Photonique suit la lumière comme porteuse d'information et comme sonde. La fibre optique et la raison pour laquelle une impulsion dans le verre va moins vite que dans le vide, la photonique sur silicium, l'optique co-intégrée, le calcul optique, les photodétecteurs du PMT au SiPM et l'interaction des photons avec la matière, de la lumière visible aux rayons gamma. Vous saurez calculer le délai d'une liaison en fibre et la part d'un faisceau qu'un matériau absorbe. La conception de lentilles et l'optique photographique sont hors champ.
