Energy report benchmark

Enter one site’s figures for one reporting year and see where its PUE, ERF, WUE and renewable share sit against sites of the same size class in the official per-site register. The figures are sent only to compute the answer; nothing is stored or logged.

Site
Energy over the year
Reuse, renewables and water
I have ERF or REF as a ratio instead
Four indicators, one site, one year. Enter the figures, or load an example, then compare. The answer shows each indicator and where the PUE sits among peers of the same size.

These four figures are what the EED asks for every site, every year. Put every site on one board: ScienceShot Compliance, a 30-day pilot for up to 3 sites.

How it works

  • PUE is total facility energy over IT equipment energy; ERF is energy reused outside the site over total facility energy; WUE is litres of water over kWh of IT energy; REF is renewable energy consumed over total facility energy. The indicator families are EN 50600-4 and ISO/IEC 30134; the EU reporting definitions are those of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/1364.
  • Peers are the sites of the same size class, on installed IT load, in the same country. A peer group needs at least 5 sites. Germany is the only country that publishes a per-site register today.
  • Register records with an implausible PUE, or an IT load not below the connected load, are left out, as the Umweltbundesamt did in its own analysis. The register’s ERF is recalculated from reused heat and total energy.
  • No climate correction: the register carries no climate or cooling field, so country and size class do the stratifying.
  • Premium adds the percentile of each indicator, the 25th, 50th, 75th and 90th percentiles of the peer group, and the same by market. See Premium
